Top Five Restaurants Near Montezuma!

  1. Cocina Clandestina:
Cocina Clandestina is a little restaurant in Delicias, just up the hill from Montezuma. It is a little bit out of the way, so, there aren't as many people as in some of the restaurants in Montezuma. It is delicious Mexican food. I would highly recommend their Street Tacos!  It has a cozy, mellow vibe. I liked every bit of it. Bonus- If you are a kid you get a cool kids menu to color. Seriously, there are different designs, not just one.

     2. Tierra y Fuego:

Tierra y Fuego is another small restaurant in Delicias. It is only open Thursday-Sunday. It is Italian food. I would recommend their Pesto Pizza! Yum! It is a quiet place that is lit by candles and little overhead lights. I felt like I was eating in a garden. Bonus- You know how some restaurants give you bread? Well instead they give you foccacia! (Fancy Italian bread.)

      3. Chelo:

Chelo is a restaurant in Montezuma. It is a pizza place. It is often very busy. There are a lot of people around six. Again, PESTO PIZZA! Although, I think my parents favorite is the jalapeno chicken, but it is a special, so they don't always have it. If it's too busy you can get take out. Bonus- Sometimes there is live music.

        4. Cocolores:

Cocolores is a restaurant in Montezuma. It is near the beach. There are two table groupings, one near the kitchen and the other is closer to the waves. I would recommend their steak. Each of their tables have big conch shells that hold napkins. Bonus- There are two cats Tigre, he has a big head, and a cat whose name starts with an L, she has a tiny head!

         5. Ice Dream:

I don't know if this counts as a restaurant. But, whatever! Ice Dream is technically a ice cream shop in   Montezuma. It has gelato, pastries and coffee. I would recommend their oreo gelato! Mmm! Bonus- Chocolate bananas! I think that is pretty self explanatory.

          Honorable mentions:
El Sano Banano

El Sano Banano is a hotel in Montezuma that has a restaurant attached. It is good for after the beach snacks. Like Patacones. Mmm. And lemonade. Mmm.

Playa de los Artistas:

Playa de los Artistas has a beautiful setting with candlelit tables. Some of the tables have just cushions to sit on and others have chairs or benches. The tables are right on the beach. Literally, there is sand underneath the tables. But the food is a little to strong and rich for me. It is made with fancy stuff like squid ink. A lot of adults like it though. But I am only ten! Maybe when I am eleven.:-)

  1. I'm glad that I got to go to those restaurants with you. The coloring sheets at Cocina Clandestina are a good place to play hangman, the pesto pizza is really good-- so is lemonade, and birds like patacones too!
